HOW CAN YOU WASH A CAR WITH NO WATER?

Our solutions are comprised of polymers and surfactants designed to protect your car by lifting and encapsulating surface dirt and grime, which is wiped away using plush microfiber towels. Because no water is needed in our waterless car wash services; no water is ever used, so there is no mess or toxic run-off.


WON'T THIS SCRATCH MY CAR?

Our method will NOT scratch your car. The innovative formula breaks down, lifts, and encapsulates dirt & grime from the surface of your vehicle. Clean & Green Auto Care's hand-washing technique, using plush microfiber towels to wipe away the dirt and buff out the polymers, gives the surface a wax-like finish.


WHAT MAKES YOU ECO-FRIENDLY?  

We only use the finest exterior & interior cleaners, conditioners, and protectants that are earth-friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable, which means they're safe for the driver, passengers, and the environment. "Waterless Wash" prevents hazardous chemicals from entering the ecosystem and wreaking on the environment.     


WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN YOUR SOLUTIONS?

Our premium grade formulas are chemical-free, which have been derived from a variety of natural resources such as palm, coconut, corn and soybean. No silicone, alcohol, ammonia, or isopropyl will be found in any of our products.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CLEAN A CAR?

Anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours, depending upon the size of your vehicle, the package/service selection(s) as well as the amount of dirt and debris.  The condition of the exterior and interior (dirtiness) as well as additional requests will be factored into the time and price consideration.  You will be notified of any price adjustments due to any necessary increase in time/product prior to the commencement of work.


DOES A WATERLESS WASH TAKE LONGER THAN A REGULAR CAR WASH?

Our hand-washing technique is done with chemical-free solutions and meticulously by hand. Hand-washing is the only way dirt and grime can be  effectively lifted off.  We work without pressure washers or harsh scrub brushes to remove dirt from the surface, therefore; the process to end result is not as fast or as easy as conventional or mechanical car washing. We are not miracle workers by any means, and  our services are hands-on, thus requiring physical effort to beautify your vehicle.   Clean & Green Auto Care's beautiful end-result is a far cry from that of conventional car washing. HOW DIRTY IS EXTREMELY DIRTY FOR A  WATERLESS WASH?
Mud, clay, granules, heavy salt spray, heavy tar and tree sap are examples of things that cannot and should not be cleaned with any waterless wash method.  Although counter-intuitive to the waterless wash process; heavily caked-on debris must be rinsed off of your vehicle before a waterless wash. If in doubt, let common sense be your guide.

HOW DO I DETERMINE THE SIZE OF MY VEHICLE?
Clean & Green Auto Care's  waterless wash package options & services are aligned by vehicle size classification.  Our packages are scaled by service time and quantity of product used for each vehicle depending on it's size classification Please Contact Us to help best determine if you are unsure about the size classification of your vehicle. 

HOW CAN I DETERMINE WHICH PACKAGE WILL WORK FOR MY VEHICLE? 

Clean & Green Auto Care offers 3 waterless car wash packages to choose from.  Your waterless car wash package option depends on the current condition of your vehicle as well as the level of debris & contamination.  

  • Express: Outside body & windows washed. 
  • Basic: Outside body & windows washed. Tires & wheels cleaned, along with interior vacuum and quick dash & console dusting. 
  • Deluxe: Outside body & windows washed. Tires & wheels cleaned, along with interior vacuum. Dash & Console wipe down. Interior and exterior trim conditioning.
The condition of the exterior and interior (dirtiness) as well as additional requests will be factored into the time and price consideration.  Any adjustments, or additionally factoring conditions, such as pet hair, bug & tar removal, or excessive dirtiness, will be included as deemed necessary. 


ISN'T IT BETTER TO JUST GO THROUGH A CAR WASH? 

Car washes uses harsh chemicals that enter and contaminate our ecosystem or recycle their water, which can dull and contaminate your paint's surface with impurities.  Automated car wash tunnels use abrasive bushes, cloths and materials that can damage your paint.  Some touchless car washes use uncontrolled high-pressure that can strip the trim and molding off of your car, or drive the dirt into your car’s paint with the uncontrolled high-pressure.  With Clean & Green Auto Care, every vehicle gets the TLC treatment.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE? 

Currently, Clean & Green Auto Care serves San Luis Obispo, Avila Beach, Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Oceano, and Arroyo Grande.


DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR YOUR MOBILE SERVICE? 

There is no extra charge for us to come to you in the areas we serve. A fee is charged for traveling outside of the areas we serve.


WILL MY VEHICLE HAVE TO BE MOVED? 

That will depend on any risk factors that could potentially damage yours or any adjacent vehicle as well as how much room is available to work efficiently and safely within while parked in it's current space. Your vehicle may need to be moved or re-positioned in effort to perform the scope of service to best of Clean & Green Auto Care's standards.


CAN I HAVE MY CAR WASHED WHILE I'M AT WORK OR AT HOME? 

Yes, Clean & Green Auto Care will visit you at your office or home, or anywhere else in the areas we serve.


WILL YOU NEED TO BORROW MY WATER HOSE OR POWER OUTLET?

A hose is never needed because no water is ever used in a waterless car wash.  For a clean, portable power source, we use an inverter.  Clean & Green Auto Care's  services are an overall efficient, and eco-friendly alternative.


DO I NEED TO BE WITH VEHICLE WHILE IT'S BEING WASHED?

Arrangements can be made beforehand if you are not going to be with your vehicle, however; the alarm must be disarmed for service.  We’re flexible and are committed to making it a hassle-free experience for you. 


HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

To book your appointment, please go to the Services page, where all available services and details are listed.  You can book online or contact us at 805-904-5585.   Upon receiving your request for service(s),  along with desired location and appointment time, your request will be reviewed before being accepted.  When accepted, your schedule and service details will automatically populates into Clean & Green Auto Care's service appointment calendar. Payment will be processed after the completion of service. Cash, as well as Master Card, Visa and Discover payments via Square are available options while onsite.


HOW MANY DAYS NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT? 

You may book an appointment online at least 1 hour before next available time slot in your area. You can also book an appointment up to 6 months ahead.  Online booking access is available to you 24/7 via the Services page.


CAN I UPGRADE OR ADD TO MY SCHEDULED SERVICE PACKAGE AT THE TIME YOU ARRIVE FOR SERVICE? 

Depending on time availability to fit your requested service expansion(s).  Any price adjustments will be made at this time.


CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT ON THE DAY SCHEDULED FOR SERVICE?

  • A cancellation fee of 50% of the service amount applies for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of no-show.
  • No fee applies for cancellations made 24 or more hours in advance.


CAN I REQUEST FOR A SERVICE APPOINTMENT OUTSIDE OF YOUR BUSINESS HOURS?

Requests may be made for service outside of business hours via the Contact Us page, by email, or directly by phone at 805-904-5585 at least 60 minutes prior to the desired time of service. Requests must be accepted to confirm the appointment.


COULD I HAVE ACCESS TO MY HISTORY USING YOUR SERVICE?

Clean & Green Auto Care offers Customer Area,  a private area access where User has easy-access to managing their self-created profile, bookings, gift card purchases, and more.  You can register a profile by clicking on the green key logo on upper-right area of screen. NOTE: Registrant's history will only display bookings that have been created online via booking software.  There will be no record of any call-in appointments.


SHOULD I HAVE MY VEHICLE WASHED & DETAILED REGULARLY?

  1. Your vehicle is an investment and would be in your best interest to protect it, thus increasing the resale or trade-in value.
  2. Increase Safety - Clean windows and restoration of faded headlights increase visibility, which makes for safe driving.
  3. Healthy Interior - Studies have shown that the average car interior has 10 x more germs than a public restroom.
    1. Sweat, body oils, spilled drinks and  food crumbs can lead to bacteria and mold.  
    2. Food stains and spills must be eliminated before they settle in and start to rot away at the fabric or carpet, thus degrading the value of your vehicle.


CAN YOU WASH MY VEHICLE WEEKLY, BI-MONTHLY, OR MONTHLY? 

Yes, Clean & Green Auto Care can set up an account with a recurring schedule plan that will consistently keep your vehicle clean, and at it's optimal best.


DO YOU SERVICE CORPORATE, GROUP & FLEET ACCOUNTS?  

Yes, Clean & Green Auto Care offers FREE estimates and can customize accounts to meet your specific business needs.  


CAN YOU SERVICE MULTIPLE VEHICLES AT ONE SITE? 

Onsite visits can be accommodated to service multiple cars at one site.  With a pre-determined schedule, a sign up sheet will be made available to schedule an onsite visit to service multiple cars at one site.


DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR MORE THAN ONE VEHICLE? 

A discount per vehicle can be offered if 8 or more vehicles are consecutively scheduled for service on the same day and same location site.


WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Master Card, Visa, Discover payments are accepted online via PayPal & Stripe. Cash or Square card swipe payments are accepted on site. Email required for electronic invoicing. Semi-monthly (2 x monthly) service minimum for electronic invoicing is required to waive administrative fees.  4% Transaction Fee will apply to all credit card transactions.


DO YOU HAVE GIFT CARDS?

Gift Cards can be purchased for service value only* on any Waterless Car Wash Package and Add-Ons, as well as a selection of  Clean & Green Auto Care's Specialized Services.  Value Gift Cards in increments from $25 - $400 are also available for online-secured purchase.  Gift Cards (Certificates) are only valid 3 months from date of purchase.  Please Contact Us for a quote on any Detail or Specialized Service before purchasing these specialized Gift Cards. Gift Cards (Certificate #'s) are redeemable online when booking, or by calling  805-904-5585 to schedule the service appointment.  *The condition of the exterior and interior (dirtiness) as well as additional requests such as bug & tar, or pet hair removal will be factored into the time and price consideration at end of service.
